Alan “George” Davey

19 November 1954 – 29 July 2026

Alan George Davey, affectionately known as “George”,
passed away peacefully at Canberra Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

George was the cherished father and father-in-law of Tim and Simone, Raylene and Jack, and Stacey and Chris. He was the adored Grandad of Logan, Jason, Luke, Lane, Mark, Troy, Taylor, Riley, Piper, Darcy, Baxter ( Dec) and Carter, and the proud great-grandfather of little Oaklee.

George will be deeply missed and forever cherished
in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

All are warmly invited to attend his funeral at St Clements Anglican Church, Yass, on Friday, 14 August 2026, commencing at 1pm.

To honour George’s love for the Canberra Raiders, the family invites those attending his service to wear a splash of green.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Yass SPIN Foundation.
